The Compact 600 system is designed to offer a low-maintenance and cost-effective solution where an interior divider is required.
Unlike traditional door shutters that are bulky, unfeasible, or expensive, our compact room divider is made to measure and offers an affordable alternative for both domestic, public, and commercial settings.
The Compact 600 uses a headrail/hinge system that can be tailored to fit inside your recess, ensuring smooth operation. An optional matching wooden pelmet can be supplied to conceal the overhead rail, giving your room a more elegant and finished look.
With an integral magnetic catch that’s designed to sit flush and hold your partition in place, the compact wall ensures privacy in open-plan spaces but, with the addition of a lock, it can add a layer of security to your divided areas, too.
Installation of compact walls
The Compact 600 is designed to fit into an existing opening or ‘knock through’ easily.
The extruded PVC panels are suspended by articulating twin-wheel carriers with grooved wheels to a bronze shank connected to the panel.
While our shutter room divider is simple enough for a competent DIYer to install, AEG Partitions provide an optional installation service.
